"Nah. He moved after a couple of years. And I didn't like saying anything unless I was really sure it was gonna go well." He tilts up to press another kiss against Leo's jaw, just a fond gesture. "What about you? Tell me about your first relationship."

He makes a face - not because he doesn't want to talk about it, just because he's not a fan of the guy. "His name was Daniel, and he was a giant asshole. Oh my god." The annoyance is giving away to amusement, though. "I can't believe I ever put up with that shit."

He shifts back a little just so he can watch Leo's face, visibly curious. "Yeah? Like what?"

"Possessive, uh - but not in a good way?" Leo doesn't look upset or bothered. Thoughtful, maybe. "And, um. You know - pressured a lot. Just that kind of guy."

[soicantlose]

"Sounds like a dick." He cuddles back into Leo, quiet for a minute, thoughtful. "Is it -- you should tell me if it ever ends up being the bad way. The, um, possessive stuff."

[busybean]

Leo nods, but nudges him slightly. "Yeah, sure. But I mean like - he got jealous of me hanging out with Ruby. That kind of possessive."

"Shit. That's -- kinda fucking weird. Definitely a dick," Nate decides, nudging Leo gently in return. "How'd it end?"

[busybean]

"He moved schools, and we lost touch." He shrugs one shoulder. "Should've known something was wrong when I was hoping he'd break up with me."

[soicantlose]

"Yeah. At least he didn't stick around." He leans up to kiss at Leo's jaw lightly again, full of affection and not sure how else to show it.

Leo smiles at that, turning his face to kiss at the bridge of Nate's nose. "How you feeling?" A whisper, like it's a private question.

"I feel good. Comfortable," Nate adds softly, mimicking Leo's quiet tone, tilting his face up to try and pull him into a soft kiss. "How 'bout you?"

"I feel better than I have all week, I think," he says, meeting the kiss easily and sort of just remaining there. "Just lay on the couch with me for a while?" He wouldn't hate using Nate as a weighted blanket.

"Whatever you want, baby," he murmurs, kissing Leo again before shifting to nudge him into laying down. The touching feels good, Leo's bare skin against his, and Nate seems perfectly happy to stretch out with him. "Are you tired?" he asks once he's settled, curious rather than trying to push him into sleeping.

Leo seems to need a moment to think about it, one arm slung around Nate's middle. "I don't think so?" he says eventually. "I think I'm just... mellow."

"Also good," Nate says with a little smile, nuzzling at him contentedly, his fingers stroking gently at Leo's arm. "M'glad. Thought it was gonna be a real bad night there for a bit."

"Oh, why? Cos we did drugs and your girlfriend caught me giving you a blowjob?" Leo puffs his breath out dismissively. "Baby stuff."

[soicantlose]

"Oh yeah, of course. I guess I just worry over nothing," Nate agrees, laughing a little.

"Was it a good one, at least?" Leo glances up at him, mock-hopeful.

[soicantlose]

He hums, pretending to consider, fully teasing as he answers. "I mean, it's a little blurry with everything that happened after, I don't know."

[busybean]

He's equally teasing, only mock hurt. "Oh, sure, I get it. I mean, it was only the first time we'd hooked up in like, ten years, but I was totally distracted too."

[soicantlose]

"I mean, drugs and breakups are distracting enough on their own, put them together...." He trails off with a grin, shifting up to kiss Leo lightly. "Nah, you were good. Worth waiting ten years for, even."

[busybean]

Leo smiles a little lopsidedly at him, stroking the side of his face. "C'mon, baby," he murmurs, "I'm still gunning for cartoons."

"M'not trying to stop you." But he is going to kiss him again, slow and lingering, before resettling.

He beams softly at that, before he turns his head to lazily watch the television, and his hands never quite stop stroking the skin of Nate's back.

As long as Leo keeps touching him, Nate doesn't seem to have any complaints about this plan. He's not tired, but he'll curl up on him for as long as Leo wants to stay, spacing out comfortably until he starts to get tired unless he says something.
